All Mountain ride, Swiss-Italian Trip!!

For my 3rd straight day off in a row, I decided, since the weather was very nice (15 degrees in the sun, no wind) to go all the way to Valtournenche. This small city lies in the valley that starts on the other side of the Matterhorn, and is situated at the extreme end of the resort.

I started my day on the green dot (on the picture), 9h30 at the Sunnegga bahn, like usual. Then I crossed 4 mountains, and managed my way to Italy. I went down to Valtournenche to eat lunch around 12h30. Pasta, of course!

Then I came back up, and tried to go over the rail to catch the lift to Switzerland in extremis but got thrown out, so I had to ride down all the way to Breuil Cervinia, and then back up 4 lifts (50 min later) to be back to Switzerland. I did the usual 3 mountains ride back to the Olympia, and arrived at 16h on the blue dot (on the picture)

Approximately 13 000 vertical meters in 6h30, with a lunch in Italy to top it up!!

Here is a picture of the resort that I edited with my runs of the day
(lifts in black, slopes in red, green dot= start, blue dot = finish)

Another Good Riding Day in Paradise!
