Be a Purple Cow

First, if you drive around and all you see are regular brown, black, or white cows, would you stop to look? Of course not.

But if you see a purple one, I bet you will!

In fact, being a purple cow means being remarkable, out of the ordinary. That way of thinking leads to developments, innovations, which are the basis for future businesses.

Being a purple cow in real life means doing things by yourself without always thinking about what the others think about it. Being a purple cow is what drives people to great success, because they stay out of the common model, go farther in thoughts and actions. Of course, this whole idea has to be surrounded by common sens.

You have to be able to go ahead fearlessly, and pursue your ideas until you achieve you goals (Nietzsche). That's what drives me, and it sure has worked so far. People look at me strangely sometimes when they see me optimize every aspect of my life, moneywise and timewise. That way, in my head, you expect almost every possibility, and it becomes easyer to find solutions to problems when they show up, in a very fast and effective way.

That brings up the subject of what I talked about with a guy named Christophe, at the Hofbraühaus, in Munich. The point of the conversation was that you have to identify a problem that you already have found an answer for, make the others come to you for the answer, and finally, give them the solution to the problem. The idea is to create a business out of it.

It seems pretty easy like that, but it really makes sense to me. I know that the environmental issue is the next big thing. What is there about that subject that brings up a problem? What is the solution? How can you inform people about it, fast efficently, realistically?. Thats the question I'll try to find an answer for, while keeping a purple cow's mind!
