And April Went By...

...With a blast!

Trying to catch up a little on the blog after a few weeks out of it, here is the first part of April 2011 Recap!

All the way to Grenoble, France, on that second weekend of April, to see Moe!
The first day we went with Ians (Danemark) and Kevin (Québec) to walk up a mountain!

Long way up to la Dent de Crolles

Kevin in the wind with the amazing avalanche proof Camera Case!

Getting there..beautiful day!

The way up was challenging sometimes, gave for a good effort!

Minutes from the top...

Got there in 1h30 less then announced at the bottom...

Was quite chilly though...

Quick lunch on top

Moe Chilling on his rock

Nice pic from the top..just before Moe gave me a total uncalled kick in the balls...

Some more challenging parts on the way down..

We ended up in caves inside La Dent de Crolles. We entered from Le trou du Glaz

going deeper into the mountain...

Some parts you had to crawl through, and make decisions...

We could not go all the way through (its 6 hours!) but we got as far as was possible without equipment. But we will be back for more!!

And found the exit...

Back in Grenoble, 20km farther, a great view at our day's accomplishment!

Downtown Grenoble

The next day, first BBQ of the Season!

We chose a good spot under The Tree

Loaded up the BBQ we had just spent 30 min assembling with a Swiss army knife

What a weekend!

Good friends; Kevin, Moe and Loïc!
