Week End in Les Diablerets!!

Another Week, Another Ride in the Mountains!!!

Following the week-end we had at the beginning of the year (see the post when the resort was close the whole week-end because there was "too much snow") we decided to go back to Les Diablerets to take another chance at that little mountain resort in the canton de Vaud. Lucky enough, it was the last organized week-end of the season!

To make it short, I completely smashed my board on my 3rd run down, on the first day... What a f****** mess.

I was really pissed off, but I spent the whole week-end riding with it anyway, and it ended up really nice, just look at what follows...
This time, I did a little special; a nice Vid I made just for you!
Enjoy!!

Until next time! (With another board...I guess...)

Zermatt with Moe And Marco

After a long wait, I finally go back to the big mountains with Moe and Marco, ready to get the best out of that snowfall record year in Switzerland. Bernie (my uncle) told me he never saw that much snow in Zermatt in 30 years!!! We can't expect better conditions for that free-ride week-end!

We start-off with a few slopes on a snowy day, with Marco and Moe

Sometimes, the sun came out for a brief appearance...
(We can see the LongKumme slope, between the orange sticks)

When Sam joined us, we went for a coffee at Othmar's Hutte

We Finished that day with a fast race down to Patrularve!!

The second day, Marco wasn't able to ride because of an ankle injury, but it was snowing all day, and Moe and I really took advantage of it! What a powder day!!!
Best ride: From Rothorn, down the shortcut to LongKumme, Kumme Free ride, Hidden Valley and the race to Patrularve to Finish!

A nice lunch at my uncle's Olympia Stübli.
The cat was sitting with us the whole time, to fill in for Marco's absence...

A lot of snow...

Until Next time...
