Spyder Ride to Zermatt!

Remember Moe?

Another crazy ride on the Can-Am Spyder RT!

Moe came specially from Grenobles, France, to enjoy the Swiss landscape while driving this incredible machine, always with good music playing on the surround speakers, good times!

Going up to Zermatt for Jeremy's Birthday, we enjoyed a live band and some nice company for another Olympia Party!

We had some rain on the way up, but the ride back was incredible, blue sky 'n' sun!

Until next time...

Chamonix, Baby!

After a long week being sick, and a day working for Can-Am at the Geneva Auto Show, some Australian friends picked me up in Geneva and I drove at night to get to a remote Hotel near the French village of Chamonix. These Australians were on exchange in London for medschool, one of whom being Leena, which I met back in the Whistler days...

The first day, we wake up to a beautiful blue sky and go right up top to Les Grands Montets, which is said to be a great place to ride in Chamonix.

A great first look at Le Mont Blanc (4810m)

These slopes were facing North, so not too much exposition to the sun. Had great times bombing down...

Dan was there...

Along with Lucas "Skywalker", Dougal "Boon" and Leena!

After an awesome first day out there on the slopes, we get back down to the village of Chamonix for some drinks...

The view, even in the village, is amazing!

The second day, another perfect blue sky welcomes us back on the slopes.
This time, we go to another Black slopes area called Brévent-Flégères.
This area is facing South so the sun is shining right on. Notice we are on the side opposite to the Mont Blanc, highest peak on the right, the white dome

My favorite slope of the day, Pic Janvier!
Time for some massive airborne!!

View from Saturday's resort, on the other side, the face that strangely looks like a women's... you know what I mean ;-)

We make our way to the other end of that resort and finish at Le Brévent. Highest peak on that side at 2500 meters, the restaurant on top is litteraly sitting on the edge of the cliff!!
Amazing view for our lunch on top!

Fields of snow, view point from the restaurant

Here, the lift that goes up to Brévent, up against the other side of the valley, le Mont Blanc

One final awesome view of the valley. Notice that the village is situated at 1000m, and the top of the Mont Blanc (the whitest peak on the pictures) is standing at 4810m, 3800 meters difference right there in front of us.
Amazing!!

Overall a great weekend!

Until next time...
